Florist.Win grew out of something deeply personal, a desire to close the emotional distance between families separated by oceans.
In the early 2000s, millions of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) were leaving home to build better lives abroad. They sent money, they called when they could, but sending love in a tangible form was difficult. Our parent company, PhilFlora.com, was founded in the middle of 2003 with one clear purpose: to let Filipinos abroad express love, care, and celebration to the people they left behind.
It started as one of the Philippines' first online flower shops. Back then, reaching families outside Metro Manila was a genuine challenge, the logistics network was still developing, and each delivery took real effort. But we kept going, because we knew what every bouquet meant to the person receiving it.
Over 24 years, a lot has changed. Logistics companies have grown, roads have improved, and technology has transformed the way people shop. We moved our entire business online, not because it was easy, but because we believed that technology would become essential to everyday life. That shift was one of the most important decisions we ever made.
Today, Florist.Win is the digital evolution of that 2003 vision. We carry the same heart, connecting people through flowers, with the tools, reach, and experience to do it better than ever.

Joanne grew up watching her parents work abroad as OFWs. She knew firsthand how hard it was for a family to feel connected across thousands of miles. That experience shaped her drive to build something that made it easier for people to express love, no matter the distance. Florist.Win is, in many ways, the solution she always wished existed.
Abu brought the technical vision. With a passion for using technology to solve real human problems, he built the systems that made online flower ordering simple, reliable, and scalable. He turned the idea into reality, one seamless order at a time.
Together, Joanne and Abu built Florist.Win on the belief that innovation and empathy are not opposites. Their combined strengths, one deeply human, one deeply technical, are what make this company work.
